Welcome to Samantha Howell's official website!
Samantha Howell is an emerging young artist who specializes in realistic drawing. Samantha is a visual art prodigy, completely self taught. Born in July of 1995, she is 17 years old. Samantha has never taken an art class outside of public school. She has shown extreme talent in drawing since she was old enough to pick up a pencil. Please visit our early artwork page to see some of her earliest drawings. Samantha has recently gained the attention of Ellen Winner at Boston College who is an expert in gifted children and child prodigies.
Samantha draws mostly in black and white and works with charcoal, pencil and ink. She has a technique that is unique to her and her unusual combination of pencil and ink to show depth and detail is amazing. Although she prefers to work in black and white, she does experiment with color and painting. Who knows where she will go with this artistic talent in the future. Please visit the recent artwork page to see drawings Samantha has completed between 2009 and now.
